Frustration with New Jersey unemployment benefits after winning appeal

I recently faced a frustrating situation with my unemployment benefits in New Jersey. After being fired from my job, I initially lost my hearing due to a misconduct claim. However, I appealed the decision and was relieved to win the appeal. Unfortunately, I was informed that the funds would not be released because I had quit a previous job before the one I was fired from. I was completely unaware that quitting a past job would impact my eligibility for benefits after winning an appeal for wrongful termination. It feels incredibly unjust, especially since I was already told that my funds were pending release. I called for an update today and was shocked to learn that they won't pay me because of my past employment situation. I’m now left confused and frustrated, as I thought winning the appeal would resolve my issues. I’m past all the time frames for receiving assistance, and I feel like I was not given the necessary information upfront.
