I have an upcoming interview with a city-funded program through a nonprofit, and the pay range is $27-30 an hour. It's a hybrid position with decent benefits, and while the work is similar to what I'm doing now, it leans more into compliance. My main concern is that this isn't the pay raise I'm looking for, and I really want to leave the public health nonprofit space altogether. I'm wondering if I should seriously consider this interview or potential job offer, especially since I'm based in NYC where salary is crucial.
