I recently found myself at a crossroads in my career. With a background in art school and six years in the games industry, I've spent the last six years job-hopping just to stay afloat. For the past four years, I've been working in various sales and customer service roles, but I'm currently making only about half of what my spouse earns. I'm eager to step up my career and find something better. I've been researching the job market, and it's pretty daunting. I attempted to apply for HVAC and plumbing apprenticeships, but unfortunately, I wasn't selected for those positions. Now, I'm grappling with two conflicting thoughts: should I be content with my current situation, or is there a way to elevate my career and avoid feeling like a failure?
