Struggling in the job hunt: Seeking advice on breaking into beauty marketing

I’ve been on the job hunt for over two years now, and it feels like I’m hitting a wall. I’m a millennial with 6 years of experience in social media marketing and community management, specifically in beauty marketing, but I can’t seem to land a full-time role. I’ve noticed that most of the candidates getting hired are either fresh graduates with internships or internal candidates who got promoted. I’ve tried reaching out to hiring managers and recruiters, even connecting with potential team members, but I haven’t received any responses. To bolster my qualifications, I’ve earned the INSIDE LVMH Certificate in Luxury Brand Strategy and Meltwater's Influencer Marketing certifications. I even ran my own jewelry business, but none of this seems to be helping. I’m starting to wonder if I need to change my approach. I’ve heard that networking in person might be more effective than relying on platforms like LinkedIn, which seems to be flooded with less experienced candidates. I’m open to any advice—normal or even unhinged—on how to break into this field. Has anyone else faced this struggle and found a way to overcome it?
