I had an interview for a position last Friday and the hiring manager assured me I would receive an email with the decision by 5:00 PM the following day. Now it's Saturday, and I haven't received anything. I'm starting to feel anxious about being ghosted. It seems pretty common for companies to not follow through on their promises to provide updates. I can't help but think that I probably didn't get the job or that they're still considering other candidates. Has anyone else experienced this? It's frustrating to be left in the dark after being told to expect a response.
