Applied for a retail job after two years of frustrating job searches

I’ve been struggling to land a retail job for the past two years, and it’s been incredibly frustrating. Despite applying endlessly, I haven’t received a single job offer. I see my friends getting hired, while my applications seem to vanish into thin air. I've had less than 10 interviews, and even those didn’t lead anywhere. I’ve tried everything I can think of to improve my chances. I tweaked my resume, removed my university to avoid being seen as someone who would leave for a better opportunity, and emphasized my open availability. I even targeted busy seasonal positions during holidays and summer, but nothing has worked out. The stress is mounting because if I don’t secure a job soon, I won’t be able to pay my university fees, which are piling up with late charges, and I won’t be able to afford my textbooks and homework materials for the semester. I keep applying, but deep down, I feel like my applications will just be ignored again. I knew the job market was tough, but I honestly thought I would have found something by now.
