I recently applied for a job that I thought would be a great fit for me as a new graduate. After a few weeks of waiting, I received a rejection email that was just a couple of sentences long, stating they would not be moving forward with my application but would keep my resume on file for future opportunities. It really stung, and I can't help but feel frustrated. I worked hard for my college degree, and yet it seems like it's not helping me land even entry-level positions. Right now, I'm stuck in retail, and it feels like there's no way out. I'm feeling pretty hopeless about my job search and the state of the job market for graduates like me.
