I recently interviewed for what I considered my dream job at a tech company as a software engineer. I made it all the way to the final interview, but unfortunately, I didn't get hired. I flubbed a couple of answers, and I suspect I was outperformed by a stronger candidate. It's tough to accept this loss, especially since I feel like this opportunity may not come around again. I do have another position lined up, but it's hard to feel excited about it when I've just experienced such a disappointment. I'm trying to remind myself that this might be a blessing in disguise and that something better could be out there for me.
