Navigating a Confusing Recruiter Experience While Scheduling Interviews

I recently had a confusing experience with a recruiter while trying to schedule a pre-screen interview for a position I was referred to internally. Last week, I was contacted by the recruiter based in London to set up the interview, and I promptly selected the earliest available time, which was for Tuesday this week. However, after confirming my appointment, the recruiter reached out again asking me to schedule the interview. I reiterated that I had already booked the Tuesday slot and included confirmation in my response. To my surprise, they replied saying that Wednesday would work fine, even though I had clearly stated Tuesday. I tried to clarify again, politely indicating that I was set for Tuesday but was open to either day. The recruiter insisted on sticking with Wednesday, despite my booking for Tuesday. After this back-and-forth, I decided to go ahead and book a backup appointment for Wednesday, even though the time they suggested was unavailable. So now, I have two interviews on my calendar: the original Tuesday one and a backup on Wednesday. I plan to attend the Tuesday interview since it's still confirmed, and I’ll follow up if I don’t hear anything afterward. I’m a bit anxious that this mix-up might reflect poorly on me, but I'm trying to stay positive and hope the recruiter understands the miscommunication was on their end.
