I recently applied for a position that seemed like a perfect match for my skills and experience. I was really excited about the opportunity, but I found out that a colleague from another department got the job instead. What’s frustrating is that he didn’t have any similar experience or roles that aligned with the job description. I’m struggling to understand how the decision was made and why he was chosen over me. It feels really disheartening.
