Seeking Guidance to Launch HR Career in Houston After Relocating from the UK

I recently moved to Houston, Texas, from the UK and I'm eager to kickstart my career in Human Resources. I graduated two years ago with a degree in Business Management, focusing on People Management, but I didn't have the chance to do an HR internship since I was working full-time. My work experience includes being a convenience store manager and a leasing administrator, where I developed skills in communication, administration, organization, problem-solving, and interacting with people. Now, I’m looking for advice on how to break into HR without that internship experience. I’m open to entry-level roles like HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or Recruiting Coordinator. I’m curious about how difficult it might be to enter the HR field without an internship and whether my management and administrative experience could help me stand out. I would also love recommendations for companies, recruiters, or job boards in Houston. Should I apply directly for HR roles, or would it be better to start with temporary or contract positions? Any insights or leads would be greatly appreciated!
