High school student applies for jobs and faces rapid application rejections

I recently started applying for jobs as a high school student, eager to earn some money for myself. I put a lot of effort into crafting my resume, feeling proud of the research I did to make it look good. However, I was shocked to find that I was getting rejected almost immediately after submitting my applications—sometimes within just 10 minutes! I thought it was odd to get rejected so quickly; I expected at least a day for them to review my application. I'm starting to wonder if companies are using AI or bots to filter applications, which might explain the rapid rejections. I’m curious if this is a common experience for others or if it’s just happening to me with specific companies.
