I had my final interview for a job I've been pursuing for about two months now. There were some delays due to health issues with the person who was supposed to interview me, but I finally got to have a great final interview last Wednesday. I felt really good about it and thought I answered all the questions well. The HR representative I've been in contact with has been incredibly kind and responsive throughout the process. They mentioned I would hear back by the end of the week, but it’s now been a full week and I haven’t received any updates, not even a rejection. My nerves are really getting to me as I keep hoping for good news. I’m wondering if it’s appropriate to check in with them about the status of my application. I really want to work there because they seem like great people and have a solid business. Any advice on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated.
