Reflecting on my decision to leave a stressful job after just 30 days

I started a new job last month, but I decided to quit today. The pay wasn’t great, and they expected me to work extra hours without any additional compensation. It just wasn’t worth the stress. I was initially hired for morning shifts, but I kept getting messages in the afternoon and evening, and when I didn’t respond, they would follow up the next morning asking if I had completed my tasks. They clearly had no respect for my working hours and treated everything as urgent. I learned that the previous employee left under bad circumstances and had intentionally caused issues with files and processes. I was expected to figure all of that out without any prior notice during the interview. I know this kind of situation can happen in many companies, and I’ve only been there for 30 days, but I can’t shake the feeling of disappointment in myself for leaving. I feel like I let down the few people I met there, even though I know I’ll probably never see them again. The stress affected my health, and when I asked for a few hours to recover, they seemed annoyed. Upon returning, I faced some snide comments about my absence, and during a meeting, I was called out for not having updates, which was really uncomfortable. I’m struggling with the idea of not caring about this job and the people I worked with. I see so many worse experiences shared by others, but I still feel terrible for leaving. I know the team dynamics were off, and it wasn’t entirely my fault, but I’m looking for advice on how to let go of this feeling.
