Navigating job loss and benefit cuts while exploring new opportunities abroad

I was laid off from my position last month due to AI advancements that replaced my role. It’s been a tough transition, and now I'm facing potential cuts to my Medicaid and SNAP benefits. It’s frustrating to think that if I were still employed, I wouldn’t need to worry about these benefits at all.
