Reflecting on a 90-minute interview for a chaotic front desk receptionist role

I had an in-person interview yesterday for a front desk receptionist position that was scheduled for 30 minutes, but it turned into a 90-minute ordeal. The HR representative immediately started venting about her frustrations with the job, sharing how six people had either quit or walked out since Covid. She expressed how overwhelmed she felt, having to manage the role herself, and went on a lengthy rant about her miserable work situation. I felt empathy for her as she talked about her two kids and her need for steady employment, but it was challenging to get a word in. She described the position as chaotic, saying she couldn't keep up with the demands of the phone and in-person inquiries. By the time she walked me out, she was still lamenting about how the job was 'sending her to an early grave' and how she couldn't wait to retire. It was unlike any interview I've ever experienced, and while I wanted to cut her off after an hour, I was concerned about her reaction if I did. I definitely won't be taking the job after that experience.
