I’m feeling really lost in my career right now. At 31, I’ve spent the last decade in digital marketing, but after being laid off, I’ve come to realize that I don’t want to go back to that field. With the rise of offshoring and AI, it just doesn’t feel like a sustainable path for me anymore. I’m at a crossroads because I have no idea what I want to do next. I don’t want to wait around for a ‘dream career’ that may never materialize, so I’m looking to build something stable instead. I’ve considered a few options like teaching, getting a CDL, or pursuing an apprenticeship in electrician or HVAC work, but I’m open to almost anything.
