I started to panic but managed to calm myself down before the meeting. When the meeting finally happened yesterday, it was my worst fear confirmed: I was laid off with a two-week notice. This came just five months after I started, and it was due to several clients cancelling our services, which resulted in a 25% revenue loss in just one month. This was my first full-time job in the industry after spending over two years post-graduation trying to break in.
