I recently lost both of my part-time jobs within a month, and I'm feeling completely lost. This year has been tough already; I ended a two-month relationship that was really hard on me. My first job was as a receptionist, which was my main source of income. I was let go with what I believe were flimsy excuses about attendance, despite only having taken two sick days in five months. It seemed like they just wanted to hire someone they were closer with. I often felt taken advantage of, doing personal tasks for my managers on top of my regular duties. I even got into trouble for refusing to park in a tow-away zone for their convenience. The reasons they gave for my firing felt completely made up and unfair. My second job was at a small store where I worked alone most of the time. We rarely had customers, and I followed the guidelines by bringing my computer to work when it was slow. I was even told it was okay to use my phone during downtime. However, I was fired today without any explanation. I noticed they had started training new people recently, which made me anxious about my own position. Now, with rent due and no income, I'm feeling overwhelmed. I have ADHD and Autism, which makes job situations challenging for me, especially when managers don't seem to appreciate my need for clarification. I've never faced such a wave of job loss before, and I'm devastated. I feel like I've lost everything and I’m unsure of what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
