I've been experiencing a frustrating issue with LinkedIn lately. As a Machine Learning/AI Scientist/Engineer in the biotech field, I receive 5-8 identical spam messages from so-called recruiters every week. These messages are always word-for-word the same and consistently point to the same job opportunity. I've tried reporting them as spam, but LinkedIn seems to allow these messages to slip through their filters since they don't explicitly violate any rules. It's disheartening because it adds unnecessary noise to my job search. I even took screenshots of one of the messages, omitting the recruiter's details for privacy. The fact that I've received these spam messages from recruiters in completely unrelated fields like trucking and construction makes it clear that they're not legitimate. Has anyone else faced this issue? I'm looking for advice on how to deal with this annoyance while trying to focus on my job hunt.
