Exploring Name Impact on Job Search After 2000 Applications as a Data Analyst

I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree from a T20 school and have completed multiple internships. After graduation, it took me quite a while to land a job, eventually securing a three-month contract as a data analyst through a cold email. My experience at a well-known local company helped me get that role, and I’m currently finishing another internship at my university. However, I've been reflecting on whether my name, Israel, might be hindering my job search. I've applied to around 2,000 data roles over the past year but have only received fewer than 10 interviews and three job offers. I've discussed this with a career coach and friends, and I’m starting to wonder if my name could be a factor, especially given the current climate surrounding the name. I’m not Jewish; I’m Mexican, and I’ve considered switching to my nickname, Isra, or even Ezra, which seems to be more popular. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced similar issues with their names affecting their job prospects. Should I try applying again with a different name for some A/B testing? It’s a frustrating situation, and I’m eager to hear any advice.
