Navigating uncertainty after final interview for government agency role

I'm a recent graduate currently in a bit of a limbo regarding a job opportunity with a private agency that works with a government client. I successfully went through the screening and final interview stages and was informed that I would be joining their team. They even provided me with a list of requirements, which I completed and submitted to HR within a week. However, I received a follow-up message from HR stating that due to a new memo from their main office, I would need to undergo another interview with the manager and assistant. Since then, I've been told to standby. It's been almost a week since that last communication, and I haven't heard anything further. I'm feeling uncertain about whether I'm already considered selected or if the position is still up in the air. I'm contemplating whether I should follow up for an estimated timeline or continue waiting. I really don't want to pressure them, but I also don't want my job search to stall indefinitely. I'm reaching out for advice, especially from anyone in the Philippines who has gone through a similar client deployment process. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
