I just received a job offer for a position in BioMed manufacturing at AbbVie through a recruiter. I was informed that there might be a drug test as part of the pre-screening process. Typically, in my previous roles in the industry, drug tests weren't a big deal, so I didn't think much of it. I did mention to the recruiter that I take Adderall, which he said I should bring my prescription for. However, I completely forgot about THC testing. It's legal in my state and quite normalized, so it slipped my mind. I had taken two 10mg edible gummies last night, not considering the possibility of a drug test. This morning, the recruiting company emailed me with details about a clinic for the urine test, stating that I need to complete it by Friday, September 18th, at 2 PM, and to bring proof of ID and results. I'm feeling pretty anxious about it and looking for advice. Should I just be upfront about the THC and see what happens? I doubt there's a way to clear it from my system in such a short time.
