I recently learned that Centrica, the owner of British Gas, is planning a significant overhaul that will impact my role. They are set to cut 1,300 jobs over the next two years, which includes 800 additional positions on top of the 500 cuts announced last month. This change represents about a 14% reduction in the customer operations workforce. I’m currently in the midst of this transition, and it’s a bit unsettling as I navigate the uncertainty regarding my future with the company.
