I was recently affected by layoffs at CompanyCam, where I worked in the marketing department. Despite the company showing signs of continued growth and traction, management decided to reduce the workforce. It was surprising to see layoffs happen during a time when things seemed to be going well. I'm now in the process of updating my resume and reaching out to my network for new opportunities.
