I just found out that Daimler is relocating its truck manufacturing operations from Portland to the Carolinas, which is going to result in 375 layoffs. This news hit hard, especially for those of us who have been part of the team here in Portland. It's tough to think about the impact this will have on our colleagues and the community. I'm currently trying to figure out my next steps and what opportunities might be available as I prepare for this transition.
