I recently learned that Vast, the space station startup I work for, has laid off 4% of its employees due to not meeting expectations in the latest review cycle. It’s disheartening to see colleagues let go, especially in such an innovative field. I’m currently reflecting on my own performance and the feedback I received during the reviews. I hope to stay focused and improve, but the uncertainty in the company is definitely weighing on me.
