I recently received a job rejection that left me feeling frustrated and confused. The company stated that I did not have the skills they were looking for, despite my qualifications closely matching the job ad. I have a solid background in retail, with customer service experience, and I've handled tasks such as sorting clothes, tagging, pricing items, and restocking shelves and racks. It feels like a double standard to me. I know I have the relevant skills, yet I was turned away without a clear explanation. It makes me wonder if there were other criteria they were considering that they didn't communicate. It's disheartening to face such vague feedback after putting myself out there.
