I am currently applying for a part-time position as a customer service associate at a thrift shop. The application requires me to provide three references who are not related to me, which is proving to be quite a challenge. I recently moved and don’t have any friends or neighbors to ask, and I lost contact with my previous employer. I feel stuck because I really want this job, but I don’t know who to list as references. I've even tried reaching out on forums for help, but my posts keep getting removed. I'm considering asking old teachers or family friends for help, but I'm not sure if that will be enough.
