It's been 4 weeks since the layoff, and while I can manage my bills for now thanks to my bank's help with mortgage overpayments, I’ve faced nothing but rejections from potential employers. I dedicated 10 days to revamping my CV and website, created a video showreel of my portfolio, and refreshed my Python skills to boost my employability. Despite applying to numerous positions in the creative industry, I haven't had any luck yet. I fear the possibility of having to take a job at ALDI just to make ends meet, which feels daunting.
