Navigating My Job Search After Losing My Pharmacy Technician Role

I recently lost my job as a pharmacy technician in a clinical setting a few months ago, and I'm feeling a bit lost in my job search. I'm considering going back to retail, but my heart is really set on working in a hospital environment again. I'm not sure how to express my interest in positions effectively, especially since I want to convey my passion for the clinical setting. I'm also planning to re-enroll in my Master's degree program, and I thought about using that as a talking point during interviews, saying I want to work somewhere that intellectually stimulates me while I prepare for school. However, I'm worried that mentioning my plans for school might make employers hesitant, as they might think I won't stay long-term. Additionally, I'm unsure how to explain my gap in employment. I left my last job because the hours were no longer achievable for me, and I wanted to focus on preparing for my education. If anyone has tips on how to navigate this situation or how to express my interest in a way that feels authentic, I would really appreciate it. I've never been let go from a position before, so this is all new territory for me.
