I was part of the great 2026 mass layoff wave and got laid off back in March. It's been a tough journey since then. I managed to find a new gig in June, but it feels like a rollercoaster. I see a lot of my former colleagues struggling, some are switching domains entirely, while others are just trying to make ends meet. Personally, I've been focusing on my savings and trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to feel the weight of uncertainty. I’ve seen some people take this time to work on personal projects or spend more time with family, which is inspiring. It’s a mixed bag out there.
