Reflecting on Job Rejection: Coping with Setbacks and Future Steps

I just received a call letting me know that I was rejected for a job that would have increased my salary by about $40,000. Honestly, it feels pretty defeating. The recruiter couldn't provide any constructive feedback, which makes it even harder to process. Looking back at my interviews, I realize I went in underprepared. I ended up reusing the same few examples and didn’t really showcase my skills effectively. It’s been over three years since my last job interview, so I definitely feel rusty. I'm struggling to stay positive after this setback. How do you keep your spirits up after a rejection like this? Is it reasonable to consider reapplying for the position after some time?
