Considering an AI interview after applying for a job, weighing pros and cons

I recently received a request from a company I applied to for an AI interview. To be honest, I'm quite skeptical about the whole concept. I've heard mixed reviews about AI interviews being a waste of time. Some people mentioned that they managed to avoid it by asking for a traditional phone interview instead, which sounds like a good strategy. Others expressed that if a company can't bother to have a human conduct the interview, then they aren't worth pursuing. I completely understand that sentiment. It seems like many large corporations are leaning towards AI to streamline their hiring process, but it just feels impersonal. I haven't encountered this type of interview yet, but I'm curious about how it actually works. I've had a few companies reach out for interviews lately, but none have suggested an AI format. I wonder if I should push back if it comes up, or just move on to companies that value a human touch in their hiring process.
