I applied for a restaurant job last Tuesday and completed a pre-interview video. However, I felt really awkward during the recording and struggled with the time limits. Last night, I couldn't shake off the feeling of embarrassment and regret because I know I wasn't prepared enough. I'm seriously considering reapplying and recording a new video, but I'm unsure if that's a weird move. There's a chance they might not even be hiring anymore, which adds to my anxiety. Part of me thinks I should just go in person to hand in my resume, but I've never done that before, and it makes me really nervous.
