I was really excited about a job offer I received for a marketing role at a mid-sized tech company. After going through the interview process and receiving the offer, I was asked to provide some additional details about my previous work experience. I thought this was a normal part of the process, so I complied and sent over the information they requested. However, shortly after that, I received a call from the hiring manager informing me that they had decided to cancel the offer. They didn't provide a clear reason, but it felt very sudden and disappointing. I'm now back to square one in my job search, feeling a bit discouraged.
