I asked if I could push it back by two weeks to give my current employer proper notice, and they gave me their card to follow up. Now, I'm worried that I might have jeopardized this opportunity. I’ve seen mixed opinions on whether asking for a two-week notice is acceptable, but I feel unsure about how this will be perceived by the new company.
