I received an email from my boss today informing me that my position at the company is no longer a fit for me in the long term. This news came as a shock, especially since I just got accepted into college and had assured them that my schedule would remain the same. They did offer me severance pay along with my full salary for the week, which I have decided to accept. It's frustrating that this happened so suddenly, but I'm trying to stay positive and focus on my education.
