I've been on the job hunt for a few weeks now, and I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed. Everyone keeps telling me to network, but I've already reached out to everyone I can think of. I keep getting responses like "I'll keep an eye out" or "Sorry, I couldn't find anything," which I appreciate, but it’s not really helping me right now. I'm under serious financial pressure and need a job ASAP—like, not in two months or after the holidays, but now. Despite my efforts, I haven’t landed a single interview yet. I really don’t need more vague promises or encouragement; I need actual leads and direct conversations with people who are hiring. I’m genuinely asking: how do I get my foot in the door when I feel like I’ve exhausted my options? I’ve been applying to jobs, but the silence is deafening. I know it’s a tough market, and it feels like the companies have all the leverage right now. I’m open to any advice or strategies that could help me break through this barrier.
