I was laid off in January and decided to start my own cleaning company. I got the idea in mid-April and officially launched by the end of May. It was a steep learning curve, but things have been going really well! I've been able to generate great revenue and enjoy a lot of freedom in my work. Currently, I have a team of 5 cleaners working with me. I never realized how lucrative this business could be, especially with the rise of remote work and people needing cleaning services more than ever. The biggest challenge now is actually finding more employees, as it seems like many people are not looking for jobs right now.
