I recently applied for a part-time barista position as I'm taking a break before starting university and need to save some money. I was really excited to get an interview, especially since I had no prior barista experience, which made me feel lucky since many places require it. After the interview, I thought it went well and sent a thank you email right after. Five days later, I followed up and received a response from the owner saying she was in the US for her other business but would contact her colleague and get back to me the next day. Now, it's been another four days, and I'm feeling uncertain. They mentioned wanting to hire me and to get me in within a week, but it's been 2.5 weeks since the interview. I'm torn between letting it go or following up again. I don't want to seem annoying, but I also don't want to miss out on this opportunity. Should I reach out one more time or just move on and keep looking for other jobs?
