Navigating Interview Questions About Employment Gaps During Job Search

I've been job searching for corporate roles for over six months now, and I've noticed that interviewers often ask about gaps in my resume. It can be a bit daunting to explain why there's a significant break in my employment history. I've considered various ways to respond, and one suggestion I came across was to keep it simple and honest. For instance, I had to take care of a family member during that time, and I think that’s a valid reason. However, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to articulate this without going into too much detail. Has anyone else faced this question and found a good way to handle it?
