I recently received my first job offer in the U.S. as a green card holder, which is an exciting milestone for me. However, I’m currently going through the background check process with Clear Star. Since all my work experience is from my home country, I’m a bit anxious about how they will verify my information. In my country, everything is linked to a national ID number, but they didn’t ask for that during the process. Additionally, I’ve changed my name after getting married here in the U.S., and I made sure to disclose that information in the background check questionnaire. Still, I can’t help but worry that this could create complications and potentially jeopardize my job offer, even though I’ve already signed the contract. I’m hoping everything goes smoothly!
