I recently found out that a position I applied for a few months ago has reopened. I was a runner-up in the interview process for this role, which was for a marketing coordinator at a mid-sized tech company. The supervisor mentioned that it was between me and another candidate, but ultimately, they chose the other person. Now, seeing the same job listing again, I’m wondering if I should reapply. I feel like I got pretty far in the process, and since I was told there would be a three-month probationary period, I suspect the person they hired may not have worked out. I think it could be worth a shot, but I’m unsure. What do I really have to lose?
