I recently applied for a job at a local veterinary office that I'm really excited about. The position involves some afternoon cleaning, which is perfect for me since I live nearby and have relevant experience. I enjoy working around animals, and the short shifts align well with my needs. However, I face a challenge because I also work seasonal jobs in aviation with my husband, which offer better pay but are more demanding. I haven't participated in the seasonal work for the last two years, but I plan to return next year. The vet's office seems to like me, but they hinted that my seasonal job might be a dealbreaker for them. I'm trying to figure out how to approach this situation and communicate my desire to balance both roles. Any advice on how to present my schedule to them would be greatly appreciated!
