I am a Biomedical Engineer with two Master’s degrees and experience in medical devices, but I’m currently struggling to find the right job opportunity. Despite my qualifications, I feel stuck in my job search and I’m reaching out for some honest advice. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, an MSc in Engineering Management, and another MSc in Biomedical Engineering. I am fluent in Arabic and English, and have intermediate skills in Turkish, along with international experience in Turkey and the Middle East. My goal is to move into Clinical Applications or Clinical Specialist roles, particularly in surgical technologies and robotic-assisted surgery. I've applied to numerous positions, spoken with recruiters, and networked with professionals in the field, but I still feel like I’m missing something crucial. I’m questioning whether I’m positioning myself incorrectly, targeting the wrong roles, or if my CV isn’t effectively showcasing my experience. I’m not looking for generic advice like "just keep trying." I genuinely want to understand what changes I need to make to improve my chances. If anyone has insights or feedback, especially from those in recruitment or hiring within medical devices, I would greatly appreciate your brutally honest thoughts. My LinkedIn is Mohamad Mudar Alsamsam, and I can share my CV for review if needed.
