I was laid off 16 months ago and have been struggling to find a job ever since. I used to get interviews for almost every position I applied for, but now it feels like I've hit a wall. I've submitted around 1000 applications, possibly even 2000, but nothing seems to be working. My financial resources are dwindling, and my family is starting to blame me for my situation, which adds to the stress. They don't really understand the current job market, and some have even distanced themselves from me. I have a background in training, learning and development (L&D), and user experience (UX), along with skills in graphic design. I'm reaching out for any suggestions or advice on how to navigate this tough job search.
