Feeling overwhelmed about job prospects as a chemistry student with no experience

I’m feeling really down about my situation right now. I’m 23 and about to enter my fourth year of an integrated master’s program in chemistry here in the UK. The problem is, I have no internships, no placement year, and no work experience at all. I haven’t even started looking into graduate schemes, which I know are limited for chemistry graduates. I’m currently on track for a 2:1 and might even manage to get a first if I really focus this year, but I can’t shake this feeling of hopelessness. The job market is incredibly competitive, and my CV is practically empty compared to my friends who have placements and relevant work experience. I feel like I’ve messed up my life already, especially since I’m two years older than them and I worry I won’t be able to secure a job after graduation.
