I reached out to my former manager, who I still keep in touch with, but he mentioned that the hiring process is managed by the recruiting department and he can't intervene. I also tried contacting the Recruiting Director, the same person who reached out to me when I left, but I haven't heard back. I'm feeling quite desperate to get back into that role, as it was one of the best jobs I've ever had.
