I'm feeling really uncertain about my job situation. I interviewed for a role at a small company that is opening a large office in my town. I currently work remotely in a niche industry that aligns perfectly with the position. During my first interview, the recruiter seemed optimistic and mentioned that I would be a great fit, promising to call me for a second interview soon. However, two weeks passed without any updates, so I decided to follow up. After another two weeks of silence, I noticed they posted a higher-level position that I also qualified for, but I received a rejection for that one. Now, they've reposted the original job I interviewed for, which has left me confused. Should I consider reapplying, or does this indicate that they aren't interested in me? Part of me wonders if the company is poorly managed, but honestly, my current job isn't much better. I'm at a loss and could really use some advice.
